“Safe area” guides
Most TVs display an image that is larger than the physical screen. This helps to hide distortion at the edges of the image, but it also means that the edges of the image are cropped. The “safe area” is the part of the image that can be seen. DVDit Pro’s safe area guides help you keep your buttons and text within the visible area of the menu.
To display the safe area guides:
The safe area guides appear on the Preview window’s Menu tab.
The Picture Safe guide shows the point beyond which you should not place any buttons. The Title Safe guide shows the point beyond which you should not place any text.
